ABOUT THE SCHOOL

This is an advanced school on physiology and pathophysiology of basal ganglia neuronal network. It provides the latest insights concerning these structures and their implication in the control of triggering and coordination of movement. The program will also approach all pathologies induced by dysfunctioning of basal ganglia, particularly Parkinson’s disease, but also Hugtinton disease, Hemiballism, etc.

WHO CAN APPLY TO THIS SCHOOL?

• Eligible applicants must be:
  • PhD students in their final years of thesis preparation,
  • post-doctoral fellows, or
  • early-career researchers, lecturers, neurologists, doctors, or psychiatrists
• Only applicants residing in the Africa region are eligible to apply.
